Nomura Securities wins Google Cloud Customer Award in the financial services category ~"FINTOS!" Supported by Cloud Ace~

Cloud Ace Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Makoto Aoki, hereafter, Cloud Ace) announced on June 15, 2022 that “FINTOS!”, an investment information smartphone app developed by Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Kentaro Okuda, hereinafter referred to as Nomura Securities) with the support of Cloud Ace, was highly regarded, and Nomura Securities was awarded the Google Cloud Customer Award.

The Google Cloud Customer Awards are awarded by Google Cloud to companies that leverage Google Cloud technology to drive digital transformation (DX) with superior innovation and cutting-edge technology. This is the second consecutive year that a project in which Cloud Ace participated in received an award.

This award is related to the building of the investment information smartphone app "FINTOS!" by the Mirai Company, an organization established for the purpose of enhancing digital services across the divisions of Nomura Securities. "FINTOS!" is a service built on the concept of "Hints for investment" that supports customers' asset management by providing timely information, which helps customers of Nomura Securities invest in stocks.

We supported their development on Google Cloud, which enabled a cloud-native agile development to build simple structures faster. In addition, by analyzing the usage status of BigQuery users, we succeeded in incorporating the voices of users without slowing down the speed of service improvement. Nomura Securities has set the goal of building a "digital financial advisor," that is, a financial service that customers can complete digitally, and this award is considered to be a major step toward that end.
